In honor of World Photo Day (August 19th) ArchDaily wanted to thank the photographers who bring to life the projects that we publish every day. So we asked 15 architects to weigh in on the work of some of our most-appreciated architecture photographers. Here, Andrew Freear of Rural Studio writes on behalf of Tim Hursley.
Tim Hursley’s photography has evolved with Rural Studio, and the studio’s work, as viewed by the world, has evolved through his lens. When Tim shows up in Newbern, he gently turns his visits into an event for us and our neighbors. With his big cameras, the longtime Arkansas resident captures our projects’ aims, the spirit of our community, and the atmosphere of Hale County. Tim takes great joy in the people and the way they inhabit and change the projects over the years.
